Mary Jo Livingston, J.D.
Mary Jo Livingston is the Director of Training for the Maryland Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Livingston and her Division are responsible for training all of the 500 Maryland Public Defenders.
Ms. Livingston has been an attorney for 20 years, all of which has been in service to the Maryland Public Defender’s Office. Prior to her appointment as the Director of Training, Ms. Livingston was an attorney in the Statewide Forensics Division of the Public Defender’s Office, sub-specializing in brain injury cases. Throughout her career Ms. Livingston has represented clients in large urban, suburban and rural jurisdiction handling matters of all types including juvenile, misdemeanor and felony cases.
